Last Friday many of the team at Wrights Plastics wore wool to raise money for a fantastic cause. Our Wear A Christmas Jumper Day raised lots of laughs as well as £157 to help the dogs at the home enjoy Christmas and 2016.
Team members were gently ‘encouraged’ to don a gaudy Xmas themed jumper on Friday 18th December – and loads of people took part. Check out our gallery to get the full glory of the stunning knitwear that the staff wore – from retro 1970s styling to full bad-taste effect (yes, we are looking at you Andy Watkins)
Clients and other visitors looked on in amazement, amusement and probably some jealousy as we went about our usual daily tasks in our specially selected wardrobe. It was all good fun and all for a good cause. Birmingham Dogs Home has been rescuing, reuniting and re-homing the lost, abused and abandoned dogs from the streets of the West Midlands and South Staffordshire for over 120 years. The £157 we raised will help the dogs they look after have a good Xmas and a better 2016.
