Consumers continue to receive mixed messages about the current state of the housing market. Any good news – record levels of loans to first time buyers – is often quickly followed by less good news such as overall fall in mortgage loans and continuing lack of house price rises, and lack of affordable mortgage products. Estate agents are having a varied time although it does not seem to stop new agencies opening and a cable display system can help give them a competitive advantage.
The benefit of an effective cable display system seems to be counter intuitive in a market which was an early adopter of technology. Rightmove, Zoopla and other property websites are the first port of call for homebuyers – and this has proved a mixed blessing for both estate agents and the property market as a whole. But all estate agents know that, particularly in a slow moving market, they need to attract home sellers as much – if not more – as home buyers; without quality properties to sell there will be nothing to offer any buyers that do come along receiving– and this is where the effectiveness of their display plays an important part. Vendors WILL still look at where the agency is located and how effective their display is; vendors will check out the interior of the agency, and the service they receive when they enter.
The truth of this can be seen in the fact that, despite the changes bought about by the internet, QR codes and text messages, the most successful agencies have not changed their philosophy regarding their showrooms: seeking the best available locations near shopping areas (High Streets, village centres etc) and maximising the available window space to sell the houses AND the services. Staffing levels and advertising spends may be reduced but an agency will not be successful unless its internet presence is matched by a local bricks and mortar location. It’s the reason why the big players have not really changed over the past decade, but also the reason why many smaller agencies are opening and thriving.
A cable display is a proven and popular way to display the properties offered most effectively both in the window and inside the showroom. The systems are adaptable for many different locations, extendable and easily repairable if anything requires replacing or fixing. A5 pocket sizes means that even limited wall and window space can be used to maximum effect.
Interiors are just as important as the window display and we can also offer plenty of items that can help create a stylish showroom that vendors and buyers will be happy to spend time in – so check out our acrylic furniture products, acrylic blocks, acrylic poster holders and much more: all cost-effective ways to create a great interior.
